Congress to boycott Chhattisgarh assembly session
June 24, 2013  09:42
The Opposition Congress has decided to boycott the monsoon session of the Chhattisgarh Assembly starting from July 15 to protest against the state government's 'failure' to provide security, which, it said, led to the Naxal attack on the convoy of party leaders in Bastar on May 25.

"Party members will attend the obituary references to pay tribute to slain Congress leaders before boycotting the remaining session," Leader of Opposition in the state Assembly Ravindra Choubey told reporters.
