Maha govt to hand over acid attack case to CBI

CNN-IBN reports: The Maharashtra government will hand over the acid attack case to the Central Bureau of Investigation. The decision came after the girl's family threatened to block roads at the Delhi-Haryana border in protest.
The girl had succumbed to her injuries on Sunday. The girl's family met the Maharashtra Home Minister and demanded a CBI probe into it. The family members said they won't cremate the body until their demands for a CBI probe, a government job and cremation with full state honours weren't met.
