Sensational Palghar Facebook case closed

Ram Parmar reports: The Palghar judicial magistrate on Thursday accepted the closure report filed by the Palghar police in the sensational Facebook controversy where two Palghar women commented on the bandh after the death of the Shiv Sena Supremo Bal Thackeray in November 2012.

The Sena had had filed a protest petition before the Palghar court praying to take cognisance of the offence and also to issue summons to the two girls, Shaheen Dhada and Rinu Srinivasan,which was rejected by the court on Thursday and accepted the police closure summary report.
