India launches K-5 missile from underwater platform

India has launched medium-range K-5 missile from an underwater platform in Bay of Bengal, DRDO chief V K Saraswat said today.

The missile is ready for deployment in platforms including nuclear submarine INS Arihant, which is under development in India, said Saraswat:
