Women seen as mothers in 'Bharat': RSS leader
January 11, 2013  21:44
Observing that women are seen as mothers in 'Bharat', RSS General Secretary Suresh Joshi today lamented that women are most 'unsafe nowdays'.

"Our country always considers women as mothers. Respect towards women is embedded in our sanskriti. So if they become unsafe nowadays that is a matter of shame for us," Joshi said at a meet to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

The RSS worships 'Devi Shakti' as women are the embodiments of power, Joshi said and referred to the growing 'moral pollution' in society.
