2G scam: JPC report after Budget session

CBI officers are set to appear before the Joint Parliamentary Committee looking into the 2G scam on February 12. The JPC is in the process of completing the gathering of evidence, JPC chairman PC Chacko told our sources in Delhi.

The evidence will be verified with telecom secretary R Chandrasekhar on February 12, said Chacko and the report will be drafted thereafter and submit its report before end of the Budget session of Parliament.

Attorney General Ghoolam Vahanavati deposed before JPC today and said the controversial press note issued by telecom department was amended after it was shown to him.
