Telangana decision soon? AP CM meets Sonia, Azad

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy on Monday met senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad and party president Sonia Gandhi to discuss the Telangana issue and take a final decision on the creation of a separate state.

The Union government had earlier missed its deadline to reach a final decision on the creation of Telangana by January 28. The Congress-led UPA had assured Telangana activists that it will take a final decision soon after consulting the Andhra CM and other leaders from the state.
