23 killed as Nanded Express catches fire in Andhra Pradesh

At least 23 are dead and eight injured in Nanded-Bangalore Express fire accident in Anantpur district in Andhra Pradesh in the wee hours today.

The fire broke out in the D1 AC coach of the train numbered 16594 which was headed to Nanded from Bangalore. There were at least 64 passengers in the bogie.

Those injured have been shifted to the Dharmavaram Hospital in the district.
