Cong's Tamil Nadu bigwigs not in mood to contest LS polls?
December 16, 2013  20:26

Our Delhi correspondent reports: Senior Congress ministers from Tamil Nadu may decide not to contest Lok Sabha polls in 2014 as they are apprehensive of big loss since both DMK and AIADMK have washed off their hands from the party, AIADMK leader V Maitreyan reportedly told some his colleagues in Parliament on Monday.

The DMK having ended its alliance with Congress in Tamil Nadu, the speculation is that G K Vasan, Jayanthi Natarajan, P Chidambaram and Sudharshan Nachiappan may not contest at all.
