Terror attack in Srinagar: 2 CRPF jawans critically injured

A jawan of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) was critically injured in a militant attack at Nowgam on the outskirts of Srinagar on Wednesday afternoon, reports Mukhtar Ahmad in Srinagar.

The jawan was rushed to a hospital for treatment. The area has been surrounded by security forces and searches are going on. Militants fired at the jawan from a close range, injuring him critically, said a senior police officer.
