Yasin Bhatkal reaches Delhi airport, court to hear NIA's custody plea

Yasin Bhatkal accompanied by the NIA team reaches Delhi airport. A Delhi court will hear the NIA's plea for his custody.

The special plane with Bhatkal and his associate Osadulla Akhtar alias Haddi and National Investigation Agency officials on board took off from the Jai Prakash Narayan International Airport at 12:38 pm.

Earlier, the duo with their faces covered was brought to the airport from the Bihar military police camp under tight security arrangements.

A small group of people raised slogans at the airport demanding capital punishment to Bhatkal and his associate. The NIA had obtained a three-day transit remand of Bhatkal and his associate from a Motihari court.
