Mild 5.1 quake in Assam

An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale hit Assam today. Reports suggest that the tremors lasted for 30 seconds.

Mild tremors were felt in Guwahati. The epicenter of the quake is 24 km from Tezpur.
