Norway baby row: Indian embassy steps in

The Ministry of External Affairs has stepped in offering consular assistance to the Indian couple in Norway who were arrested yesterday for scolding their child. A couple from Andhra Pradesh, Chandrasekhar and Anupama Vallabhaneni, were arrested for apparently scolding their seven-year-old son Sai Sriram for bed wetting and threatening to send him back to India in a bid to discipline him, the couple's family has claimed.
