Bal Thackeray breathes his last at 3.33 pm. He went into cardiac arrest. The announcement was made by Dr Jalal Parkar outside Matoshree.

Thackeray was 86 year old. The Sena chief has been battling for life for the last seven days.

The doctor said that they could not revive Thackeray despite their efforts.

Please respect the feelings of the family, said the doctor.
