In Mumbai dabbawalas join bandh

In Mumbai, most shops have not opened at this hour. In fact, the famous dabbawalas of the city have joined the strike.

The Delhi-Howrah rail route has been blocked near Delhi.

UP (Varanasi and Allahabad), Bihar and Delhi seem to be the worst affected right now.

In Delhi, DTC buses have stopped plying on most routes. Tyres have deflated in some buses.

In Kolkata which is used to decades of bandhs thanks to Mamata Banerjee when she was in the Opposition, long-distance trains have been affected and local trains along the Sealdah route have been stopped.
