Gadkari mum on Sanjay Joshi leading Delhi bandh
May 31, 2012  13:44

BJP president Nitin Gadkari said the Bharat bandh was the common man's reaction to wrong economic policies and corrupt governance of the Congress Party.

Gadkari refused to comment on the party's Sanjay Joshi, who is steering the protest against last week's hike in petrol prices near the Akshardham Temple in New Delhi. Joshi has been asked to lead the procession and demonstration.

Joshi, considered to be close to Gadkari, had earlier resigned from the party's National Executive. A strong critic of Gujarat CM Narendra Modi, he had earlier this month sent a letter to Gadkari and said that he is relinquishing his post in the larger interest of the party.
