Doon Express sops: Rs 5 lakh for dead, jobs for kin

Railway minister Mukul Roy announces compensation for the victims of the Doon Express derailment -- Rs 5 lakh for the dead, Rs 1 lakh for the grievously injured and Rs 25,000 for those with minor accidents and jobs for the kin of the dead. Toll right now stands at five dead, 50 injured (extent of injuries have not been specified).
