UPA has to work on consensus candidate: Pawar

The UPA will have to work on a consensus candidate in light of TMC-SP proposing Dr Singh as one of their choices for President, said Sharad Pawar. 

Pawar was reacting to the decision of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and SP leader Mulayam Singh Yadav announcing the names of Dr Singh, former President A P J Abdul Kalam and former Speaker Somnath Chatterjee as their candidates.
