Gunmen kill 10, injure 40 in Batman screening in US

Two gunmen have shot dead 10 people and wounded 30 to 40 others at a showing of new the Batman movie The Dark Knight Rises in the US city of Denver last night.
A figure in a gas mask had opened fire at the showing in a mall in the suburb of Aurora and set off a smoke or tear gas. It said initial police estimates were of 30-40 injured. The masked gunman had at least one accomplice.
The midnight showing was taking place at the Century 16 Theatre in Aurora.
