PM Singh keen to retain finance ministry

The general council of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) is scheduled in New Delhi in May 2013.

Insiders in the prime minister's office are jubilant as there is speculation that the PM might keep the finance ministry till the next Budget.

Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh specially approved a one-year extension for Ashok Lakhri, executive director, ADB, keeping the meet in mind.
