Govt bows to Jaya: Lanka airforce to be sent back

The Minsitry of Defence has ordered the Sri Lankan airforce to be sent back in the aftermath of the severe criticism it has received from the Tamil Nadu government.

Yesterday, Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa took objection to the training being imparted to Sri Lankan Air Force personnel at an Indian Air Force base near Chennai. Jayalaithaa urged the Centre to immediately cancel the programme and send back the personnel to the island nation.
