Uma spews fire over Kushwaha, suspends UP poll tour

Our Delhi correspondent reports that the firebrand BJP leader is likely to contest the UP Assembly elections, but has suspended campaigning saying she is upset with Babu Ram Kushwaha's induction into the party.

Whether she will in fact, contest the polls, will be decided at 4pm today when the BJP central election committee meets at Nitin Gadkari's residence in Delhi Just last week, Uma Bharti was keen to get Kushwaha on board, but today, she has changed her stance saying she will not campaign for the UP polls till the isue of Kushwaha is settled.
