A top British surgeion Vikram Vijh said dodgy PIP breast implants were eight times cheaper than standard types, reveals a story in the sun.co.uk. A top surgeon said clinics paid 130 a pair -- compared to the normal price of 1,000. But women were told the faulty French-made implants were high quality and were charged the usual rate for private ops of between 4,500 and 6,000.
