Rahul's war cry in Lucknow: This fight is for you

Rediff.com's Saisuresh Sivaswamy reports from a rally addressed by Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi in Lucknow.

This is Rahul's first rally in Lucknow. The Gandhi scion says that for a while, the Congress had stopped fighting elections in UP, but is now fighting back after 22 years.

"This fight is for your future. The BJP took Ram's name, but did nothing. The Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party did nothing. The world is afraid of India's future, but UP is in fact, going backwards," says Rahul.
