K Skandan named key coordinator for Telangana all-party meet

K Skandan, additional secretary in Union Home Ministry, has been named as the key coordinator for the Telangana all-party meeting to be held in New Delhi on December 28.

Skandan, an IAS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre of 1982, is being deputed by the Union Home Secretary to record minutes of the all-party meeting.

Skandan having gained expertise in Jammu and Kashmir unit of the Union home ministry as he used to record minutes and submit them to then Home Minister P Chidambaram.
