7.4 quake strikes Japan, tsunami warning for Tokyo

Early reports say that this is the same area where the March 2011 earthquake occurred. The good news is that the Fukushima nuclear plant is safe, says Tokyo Electric. In Tokyo, buildings shook as the 7.4 magnitude quake struck the east coast of Japan. The quake hit around 5:15 pm (Japan time). Tsunami advisories have been issued and people in the affected areas have been asked to move to higher areas.
