PIL against next Army chief over J&K fake encounter

Headlines Today says a 60-page petition has been filed in the Supreme Court challenging the appointment of Eastern Army Commander Lt Gen Bikram Singh as the next Army Chief. The PIL has been signed by ex-servicemen, journalists and ex-bureaucrats. The PIL charges Singh with being involved in the Jammu and Kashmir fake encounter case.
