November 10, 2011  17:20

Addressing the 17th Saarc summit in Addu, Maldives, the PM says there is scope for more cooperation between the Saarc countries and while a lot has been done, there's much more left undone.

Dr Singh points out that the need for cooperation arises especially since the global economy is under stress and there is a need to revive it. Regional cooperation is good for all countries in the region (S Asia) and it was therefore necessary to create avenues in the region.
