As the rescue operations continued to pull out survivors and bodies from the debris of the sky-scraper, families of 250 Indians believed to be missing are holding out hope to find their loved ones alive.
Around 5,000 people are said to be missing after air-borne terrorists smashed the twin-towers of the WTC.
Officials say the chances of survival of the missing are becoming slim with time and, on Friday, not a single victim was found alive.
Dr Mukand Modi of the Overseas Friends of BJP said the party was setting up a help line to assist those in need.
The Indian National Overseas Congress is also planning its own helpline.
