Rescue workers pulled out alive five New York fire fighters from the rubble of the World Trade Center on Thursday.
The fire fighters were ensconced safe in a sports utility vehicle under the rubble of building no1 of the WTC complex.
The fire-fighters have been taken to the St Vincent's Hospital.
