The top aide, identified as Fazle Raziq, an ethnic Pakhtoon resident of Swabi district of the North West Frontier Province, was 'being quizzed by a joint interrogation team, which comprises both civil and military officials', The Frontier Post said.
Stating that the authorities were 'tight-lipped' over the development, it quoted sources close to the interrogation team as saying that Raziq was 'travelling on sabotage mission, which entailed action against American military targets in Kuwait'.
"Without doubt, Raziq is a prize catch. This may very well be the beginning of the end for bin Laden," the daily quoted analysts as saying.
