In a videotape broadcast on Qatar's Al-Jazeera television channel, Saudi renegade Osama bin Laden on Saturday launched a frontal attack on the United States and said that Washington had no proof justifying its strikes against the Taleban in Afghanistan
The terrorist mastermind also indirectly attacked the Indian government saying that Muslims in Jammu and Kashmir were being persecuted.
"For more than 50 years, our brethren in Kashmir have been subjected to untold suffering - they have been massacred, their honour and their homes attacked without the United Nations batting an eyelid," he said.
In a scathing attack on the UN, he said the world body was an instrument of crime and blamed the world organisation for the 'suffering of Muslims'.
"We have suffered and continue to suffer because of the UN. No Muslim or sensible person should turn (to the UN) because it is an instrument of crime," he said in the recorded address.
"Those who want to solve our problems at the UN are hypocrites. Our suffering is caused by the UN," he said.
"Who issued the Palestine partition resolution in 1947 and handed the Arab country over to the Jews? The UN," the terrorist mastermind said.
"Those who claim to be Arab leaders and whose countries are UN members are infidels who renounced the Quran and Prophets Mohammed's sayings," he added.
"We (Muslims) are being slaughtered everyday and the UN does not lift a finger," he charged.
Laden was dressed in camouflage fatigues and had a Kalashnikov rifle on his left side.
Laden also said the US had 'no proof justifying its strikes on the Afghan people'.
"The entire West, with few exceptions, backs this ferocious and unfair campaign, which is not based on any evidence implicating the Afghan people in what happened in the US," he said.
"The Afghan people have nothing to do with this, but the campaign is continuing, exterminating villagers and civilians, women, children and innocent people," he added.
Laden accused the UN of having aligned itself with Washington by adopting resolutions detrimental to the Afghan people.
"Without proof, the UN adopts resolutions favourable to the unjust and tyrannical America and harmful to an oppressed people that went through a fierce war with the Soviet Union," he said.
The terrorist mastermind once again reiterated that he would continue the fight against the US.
"I swear by God that America and those who live in America won't dream of having security before we have it in Palestine," he vowed.
