Refuting French media reports, the Central Intelligence Agency denied one of its agents had contacted Osama bin Laden in July, while the Saudi terrorist was allegedly being treated in a Dubai hospital.
CIA spokeswoman Anya Guelsher on Monday called the report 'complete nonsense'.
Le Figaro and Radio France International had reported that a CIA operative had met with Osama bin Laden, while he was undergoing kidney treatment.
"The CIA never employed, paid or maintained any relationship whatsoever with bin Laden," a statement issued by the agency said.
