    • The tariff for a view side super deluxe double room is Rs 1,700, plus taxes, per couple per night. An extra person will be charged Rs 425, plus taxes, per night.

    Children below 11 years will not be charged.

Dalhousie is a charming hill station in Himachal Pradesh named after the former British Governor-General, Lord Dalhousie. Built on and around five hills, it is located on the western edge of the Dhauladhar mountain range. Surrounded by snow capped peaks, pine, oak and deodhar trees, it covers an area of just 14 square kilometers. The best time to visit is in the summer, and the peak tourist season is from May to September.

The nearest railway station is Pathankot, 80 kms away, which is connected by trains from New Delhi, Madras and Calcutta. The New Delhi Jammu Tawi Shalimar Express connects New Delhi with Pathankot. The Madras Jammu Tawi Andaman Express connects Madras with Pathankot. The Sealdah Jammu Tawi Express connects Calcutta with Pathankot.

From Pathankot regular buses and taxis are available for Dalhousie. Dalhousie is also well connected by road to Chamba (56 kms), Delhi (559 kms), Shimla (345 kms), Chandigarh (300 kms), Mandi (250 kms), and Manali (350 kms).

Snow capped peaks, green valleys and serene lakes

Vacation packages for a few popular hotels in Nainital:

Nainital is a picturesque hill station in Uttar Pradesh, which got its name from the Naini lake set in a mountain hollow. Tal translates to mean lake, and thus came about the name of the hill station discovered by the Europeans in 1841. The peak tourist season in Nainital is between March and July.

The nearest railway station is Kathgodam, 35 kms away, which is connected by trains from Delhi and Howrah. The Ranikhet Express connects Kathgodam with Delhi. The Howrah-Kathgodam Bagh Express connects Calcutta with Kathgodam. The narrow gauge trains connect Lucknow to Lalkuan which is 55 kms from Nainital. The Ranikhet Express connects Luknow with Lalkuan.

From Lalkuan and Kathgodam regular taxi and bus services are available for Nainital. Nainital is well connected with Delhi. There are regular buses from New Delhi to Nainital; one can take either AC, deluxe or ordinary buses from the ISBT bus terminal in Delhi. Nainital is well connected by buses with other parts of the state. Inter state services are also available. The state transport corporation as well as the private operators have their buses on this route. Nainital is 306 kms north-east of New Delhi, 401 kms from Lucknow, 67 kms from Almora, 141 kms from Bareli and 40 kms from Haldwani. Ranikhet is 59 kms away and the Corbett National Park is kms away from Nainital.

Himalayan summer

Rates for hotels around Manali:

Manali, a picturesque Himachal Pradesh hill station is surrounded by snow clad peaks, thick pine forests and the river Beas winding through it. It is the gateway to the valleys of Lahaul and Spiti across the 13,450 feet Rohtang pass.

The nearest railhead is Shimla 285 kms away.The Shatabdi Express, the Himalayan Queen and the Ekta Express connects New Delhi with Kalka. From Kalka it is possible to reach Shimla by connecting trains. The journey takes about five to six hours. From Shimla one must proceed by road to Manali. Manali is 285 km away. There are deluxe and semi deluxe buses daily between Shimla and Manali. It is also possible to hire a taxi.

The most convenient way to reach Manali from New Delhi is by road all the way. It takes about 16 hours to reach Manali by bus. Manali is 575 km away. One can also hire a taxi which will take about 13 hours.
