gabbana claims to have reasonable prices for its Italian designerwear. Why don't you take a look at how much you could buy a Versace, Verri, Bilancioni, Zileri or Ferre?

Glitterati houses Versace and Valentino. You could pick up a suit for anything for anything between Rs 22,000 and Rs 24,000 or a blazer from Rs 16,000 to Rs 18,000.

Indian designers like Krishna Mehta, who does men's clothing, and houses like Raymonds and Grasim-Gwalior Suiting would charge approximately Rs 4,000 onwards for a suit. Grasim has recently announced a new range of premium worsted suiting, Scabal, which will be available in India at Rs 25,000 to Rs 2,25,000.

Benetton clothing is available at a wide range, from Rs 199 to Rs 899. Mexx is available at Rs 400 onward. Lee ranges from Rs 900 to Rs 1400. All these labels have set up manufacturing facilities in India, which is where they differ from the casual line at gabbana which is tailored abroad.
