Asia Cup probables on June 28

India's 1997-1998 cricket season begins with the Asia Cup in Sri Lanka.

The tournament, featuring India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh, will be played on a round robin basis between July 14 to July 27.

Following this, India will remain behind to play two Tests, and three ODIs, against Sri Lanka.

The national selectors will meet in Calcutta on June 28 to select probables for a conditioning camp, to be held in Bangalore between July 1 and 10. The team will be selected on the evening of July 10, and will fly to Sri Lanka on July 12.
