The goals continued to flow at the African Nations Cup with nine more on Tuesday taking the tally to 20 and a promise of more attacking play to come on Wednesday.

Defending champions Egypt hammered four past Cameroon in a surprisingly easy win while Zambia had a one-sided 3-0 triumph over Sudan in Group C's opening encounters in Kumasi.

Senegal's much vaunted strike force go into action for the first time when they meet Tunisia in Tamale at the start of Group D (1700 GMT).

South Africa's inexperienced squad, using the tournament to prepare to host the 2010 World Cup, face Angola in the second game (1930) at the new stadium in the northern town.

Mohamed Zidan and Hosni Abd Rabou each scored twice for Egypt in a 4-2 win. The two consolation goals netted by Samuel Eto'o for Cameroon edged him to within one of the tournament's long-standing scoring record of 14.

James Chamanga, Jacob Mulenga and Felix Katongo scored for Zambia against a Sudanese team making an unsuccessful return to the tournament after a 32-year absence.
