Paes-Hill advance in the Tennis Masters Series

Indian doubles ace Leander Paes and Michael Hill of Australia moved into the second round of the doubles competition at the Tennis Masters Series being held in Toronto, Canada on Monday.

The unseeded duo defeated wildcards Michal Ciszek and Philip Gubenco of Canada 6-3, 6-4 in the first round.

They next face the winner of the match between the fifth seeds Martin Damm-Cyril Suk (Czech) and Dominik Hrbaty(SLK)-Fabrice Santoro(FRN).

Mahesh Bhupathi and Max Mirnyi are the third seeds and face Younes El Aynaoui (MOR) and Tommy Robredo (ESP) in the first round.
