Moya in second tournament triumph in succession

Second seed and defending champion Carlos Moya cruised past fellow Spaniard David Ferrer 6-2, 6-3 to win the Croatia Open final on Sunday.

It was Moya's second tournament triumph in succession after victory in the Swedish Open in Bastad a week ago.

The match lasted only 73 minutes and Ferrer, who reached the final as a qualifier, struggled most of the way.

Ferrer had beaten Argentine David Nalbandian, surprise Wimbledon finalist, in the first round.

Moya missed Wimbledon because of tendinitis in his right shoulder, but has returned to action with a bang.
