Dudu Omagbemi scored a hat-trick as Salgaocar, Goa, drubbed Indian Bank 4-2 in an Oil PSU seventh National Football League match in Chennai on Thursday.
Dharamjit Singh stunned the bankmen, scoring the first goal in the third minute, while Nigerian Dudu found the target in the 20th, 25th and 84th minutes.
Sabir Pasha (12th) and Imran Mohammed (90th) scored for the losers.
Salgaocar were off to a flying start, capitalising on two costly errors by bank custodian Felix Edward within the first 20 minutes and never looked back from then on despite the hosts scoring once each in each half.
Edward was replaced by Sebastian Netto soon after the Goans scored their third goal.
The win gave Salgaocar three vital points after two straight losses to take their tally to 10 points from seven matches.
Indian Bank tasted their third defeat in six outings to remain on seven points.
Though Salgaocar went into the match without their key players -- Sunday Seah, serving a suspension after receiving two yellow cards, and injured captain Covan Lawrence -- the two goals helped them dominate the match and outplay a demoralised Indian Bank in all departments.
Trailing 1-3, the bankmen opened up in the second-half, putting pressure on the Salgaocar goal, but Syed Sabir Pasha missed out on two good chances
Indian Bank's key striker Kasun Nadika Jayasuriya was also off-colour.
Salgaocar, the Goan league champions, also had a couple of chances in the second-half, but could not convert.
