Arjun Atwal in fourth place

Thailand's Thongchai Jaidee extended his lead in the Davidoff Tour Order of Merit to US$11,000 over closest rival Charlie Wi of Korea.

Thongchai, winner of the Wills Indian Open in March, took his season's earnings to US$167,908 after finishing in joint eighth place at the Kolon Cup Korean Open over the weekend. His ninth top-10 outing of the year was worth US$7,444.

Wi, the SK Telecom Open winner, remained in second place with US$156,897 after settling for joint 25th place in Seoul while Thaworn Wiratchant of Thailand stayed in third spot with US$111,682 despite missing the weekend cut for the second straight week.

India's Arjun Atwal swapped places with American Andrew Pitts, moving one rung up to fourth place after a joint eighth outing in Korea. The in-form Pitts, who won the Acer Taiwan two weeks ago, was in contention at the weekend but faded with a final round 77 to finish in tied 17th place.

South African James Kingston leapfrogged from 17th to eighth position in the Order of Merit following his third-place finish which was worth US$30,372. Korean Open runner-up Park Do-kyu jumped into 12th spot on the merit list after picking up the winner's cheque worth US$54,669 as the champion, amateur star Kim Dae-sub, was not entitled to the prize-money.

The Davidoff Tour remains in Korea this week for the US$400,000 Shin Han Dong Hae Open in Kaya Golf and Country Club in Pusan.
