Paes, Bhupathi lead challenge in AAG

French Open doubles champions Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi will lead the Indian challenge in the inaugural Afro-Asian Games' men's tennis event.

Ramesh Krishnan will be the non-playing captain of the team.

Enrico Piperno will hold that responsibility on the women's side, where India No.1 Nirupama Vaidyanathan will spearhead the hosts' quest.

The tennis event will be held at the R K Khanna tennis stadium in Delhi from November 4 to 10.

The teams:-
Men: Leander Paes, Mahesh Bhupathi, Harsh Mankad, Syed Fazaluddin, Mustafa Ghouse and Ajay Ramaswami.

Women: Nirupama Vaidyanathan, Manisha Malhotra, Rushmi Chakravarthi, J Sai Jayalakshmi, Sania Mirza and Radhika Tulpule.
