Bhupathi - Likhovtseva in quarters

India's Mahesh Bhupathi and Elena Likhovtseva of Russia entered the quarter-finals of the mixed doubles at the French Open on Monday. The pair defeated Martina Navratilova of the United States and Max Mirnyi of Belarus 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 in the second round.

Bhupathi and Likhovtseva will meet the pair of Alexandra Fusai and Jerome Golmar of France, who shocked sixth seeds Nicole Arendt of the United States and Mark Knowles of Bahamas 5-7, 6-4, 6-0 in another second round match.

On Sunday, Leander Paes, partnering Lisa Raymond of the United States had entered the last eight of the event, getting a walkover from Andrew Florent of Australia and Sandrine Testud of France.

Paes and Raymond will meet Paola Suarez of Argentina and Jaime Oncins of Brazil.
