Adi Havewala passes away

Former Olympian Adi Havewala, the last of the trio who represented India in cycling, died in Bombay on Thursday night. He was 83.

Havewala, along with the late M Malcolm and N K Mistry, participated in the 1948 London Olympics and other European meets. Later, in early seventies, his son Rustom won quite a few national level cycling titles.
