China win team golds in Asian Jr. TT

China bagged the boys and girls' team gold medals at the eighth Asian Junior (under 17) table tennis championships on Wednesday.

China succeeded in defending its team title, beating South Korea 3-1 in the boys' final.

In the girls' team final, they defeated Chinese Taipei 3-0 and claimed the title for the seventh time. The only time they failed to win the crown was in 1987, when they were beaten by DPR Korea in the final.

Japan and India shared the boys' team bronze while Japan and South Korea were third in the girls' team standing.
