Indian matmen

India bagged two gold medals in the junior World wrestling championship, being held at Tashkent (Uzebekistan).

Ramesh defeated Ashit (Russia) 4-3 in the 69 kgs freestyle while . Palminder Cheema beat Nourzaee of Iran 5-0 in the 130 kgs freestyle.

Wrestling federation of India president M S Malik congratulated the two matmen on their spectacular victories.

Mukesh (54 kg) had won the bronze medal in the Greeco-Roman style a day earlier.
