English football ref dies during match

English football referee Mike North died of a heart attack during a third division game, news reports said on Tuesday.

He was 41.

North collapsed shortly before half-time in the match between Southend United and Mansfield on Easter Monday. He was rushed to a local hospital, but doctors were unable to revive him.
