Anand takes the lead
in world chess final

Grandmaster Vishwanathan Anand, playing with white, beat Alexei Shirov of Spain in the second game of the six-game final of the World Chess Championship in Tehran on Thursday evening.

The first game had ended in a draw on Wednesday.

Anand won the game in 64 moves after Shirov made serious errors on his 33rd, 34th and 37th moves.
