Spain win its first Davis Cup final

Juan Carlos Ferrero Sunday defeated Lleyton Hewitt in four sets to give Spain its first Davis Cup victory.

Ferrero's 6-2 7-6 (7/5) 4-6 6-4 victory gave the Spanish a 3-1 lead.

It was tough for Hewitt, who had fought hard and who had also won his opening tie in five sets against Albert Costa on Friday.
