Chopra, Robin Singh back for one-dayers

Nikhil Chopra and Robin Singh return to the Indian team for the first two one-dayers against New Zealand at Rajkot (November 5) and Hyderabad (November 8) respectively.

The team for the first two one-day internationals was announced by chairman of selectors Chandu Borde and Board of Control for Cricket in India secretary Jaywant Lele in Ahmedabad today.

Devang Gandhi and Harbhajan Singh, who are playing in the ongoing third Test, will make way for the two one-day specialists.

India will play five one-day internationals against the Kiwis.

Lele informed newsmen that the names of Mohammad Azharuddin, Nayan Mongia and Ajit Agarkar were not considered for selection.
